We are the only gym in Yonkers, Westchester County, and the Bronx with a real Kru teaching our Muay Thai Program. Not someone who has had 2 amateur fights or some karate guy that did a weekend Kru certification. Kru Primo Bellarosa is 13-1 as a professional Thai Fighter. He is a 7 time champion in 3 weight classes. He is also undefeated in mixed martial arts with a record of 3-0. He’s the real deal.
We are the best Muay Thai School in Yonkers NY
He’s trained and cornered fighters in the highest level of the sport including bellator, strikeforce, and the UFC. He trains our fight team here at WFC where we have professional and amatuer MMA and Muay Thai fighters training everyday.
Our Muay Thai program is broken up into 3 levels.
Intro– For those just starting and brand new to Muay Thai. We work on basic techniques and conditioning to get you ready for the higher level classes and to get you in shape.
Foundations– Our level 2 Classes for those with basic knowledge of Muay Thai, we work on more advanced combinations and basic defense.
Combat Athlete– In our advanced combat athlete program we start developing Knees and Elbow techniques that make Muay Thai such a dangerously effective fighting style. These classes are more intense with light contact and sparring drills.
If you’re brand new and don’t know Muay Thai is referred to as the art of 8 limbs. Using Knees, Punches, Elbows, and Kicks. It is the national sport of Thailand and is more of a ring sport then a martial art like boxing is in the United States.
Not only will our Thai Program teach you some real life self defense skills that you can use while standing with an opponent, it will also get you into amazing shape. Muay Thai is a full body workout that hits every muscle and requires great core strength and explosiveness.
